Buds 2 Pro and Buds FE Also Receive Samsung's Galaxy AI Upgrades

Samsung has announced the rollout of its Galaxy AI features to a wider range of devices, including the Galaxy Buds 2, Buds 2 Pro, and the recently unveiled Buds FE. This software update brings AI-assisted functionalities such as live translation and interpretation to users in India and select global markets. The implementation of these features requires users to own a Galaxy S24 series smartphone. Once updated with the latest firmware, users can leverage the live call translation feature directly through the Samsung dialer on their Galaxy Buds. Moreover, the interpretation feature enables users to speak through the buds, with automatic translation at the receiver's end based on the selected language.

In the near future, Samsung plans to extend these capabilities to older devices like the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip5, and Galaxy Z Fold5. Notably, these features operate independently of an active internet connection, although users must download the necessary language pack on their Galaxy S24 devices. Supported by the on-device neural processing units of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400 SoCs, the update caters to over 13 languages, including Hindi and English. Concurrently, Samsung is set to release a significant software update for the Galaxy S24 series, offering users enhanced display color-tone customization and improvements in camera quality.

In India, Samsung retails all three TWS models that support Galaxy AI features. The Galaxy Buds are priced at approximately Rs 8,000, while the Buds 2 Pro comes in at Rs 13,000. The latest addition, the Galaxy Buds FE, is available for Rs 7,999 on major e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart, providing users with a comprehensive suite of AI-powered functionalities.
